Yellow Wire have announced their participation in the inaugural Stand Up Paddleboard Marathon in aid of the Mercury Phoenix Trust’s Freddie for a Day campaign! Joined by some of the biggest Paddleboarder’s from the UK and dressed as Freddie, Yellow Wire will paddle 15 miles from Sunset Surf Café, Gwithian to Porthmeor in St Ives, back to across the bay to Godrevey before paddling home to Sunset Surf on 2nd September, a feat which is expected to take about 8 hours!

To help raise money and awareness for The Mercury Phoenix Trust, show your support by turning up for the Paddleboard Marathon dressed as Freddie Mercury. You can also donate via their Just Giving page.

Yellow Wire is fronted by Ol Beach, the son of Jim Beach, who has managed Queen since way back in 1978. Therefore, The Mercury Phoenix Trust is a cause that means much to the band (www.yellowwire.co.uk). Yellow Wire's debut single 'Where Is The Summer?' is released on 23rd August on Universal Records.
