Well yet another Queen Convention bites the dust! Twenty five years! It was a brilliant weekend for The Mercury Phoenix Trust thanks to the generosity of everyone there. I thank them all so much.

We decided to set up the stall late afternoon on the Friday something we have never done before. I could not believe how busy we were; I thought no one will have any money left the way everyone was spending. We closed up around nine!? We started again at 9.30 Saturday morning right up to 6 o’clock and the same on Sunday.

Kash, Freddie’s sister and Roger Cooke, her husband, raised our total by Kash doing a signing and Roger allowing anyone who gave £10 to sit and have a photo taken in Freddie’s car. They raised £1,700.00!

So the weekend gave us £5,310.00. We sell any merchandise we can get hold of, we also have a raffle, items of which come from various sources such as "Compulsion" and "Danbury Mint" to whom I am very grateful, thank you, also to all those who are always so supportive.

We did three silent auctions; one was a MPT poster singed by Brian, Roger, Jeff Scott Soto and Jamie Moses. We had a beautiful box set and also a brilliant painting of Brian by my daughter who every year comes up with something special, a special thanks to her.?

Finally, a huge thank you to Annie and Sue - I couldn`t do it without you!!!
