On September 2nd Yellow Wire will be leading a Stand Up Paddleboard Marathon in Cornwall, UK. Taking part in the marathon are Ol Beach (aka Yellow Wire), Sean White, Rob Lucas, Ant Lucas and Rob Small.

Dressed as Freddie Mercury, they, along with anyone else who would like to take part in the marathon, will paddle 15 miles across Hayle Bay to St Ives and back via Godrevy Lighthouse.

As they continue training in Cornwall, they have been featured in The Cornish Guardian and the same article also appeared in The West Briton.

The Freddie for a Day initiative is getting increasing press coverage and has had a write up in the Pink Paper, the UK's leading weekly paper for a gay readership. It has also been featured in the September issue of Out In The City Magazine.
