Suzanne Roberts spent six months training for the Marine Corps Marathon with Team to End AIDS. It was an incredible journey which ended when Suzanne completed the marathon on October 30th. You can read about the preparations on her blog http://suzannerunningmcm.blogspot.com/2011/06/mercury-phoenix-trust.html.

Team to End AIDS raises money for the US AIDS charities AIDS United and Washington AID Partnership. Suzanne raised a total of $1635 which she raised in the name of the Mercury Phoenix Trust, running with “For FREDDIE” emblazoned on the back of her tshirt. Although she didn’t feel up to running the marathon dressed as Freddie, as Stuart Jones did for the London Marathon, the MPT was at the heart of her decision to train with Team to End AIDS and we are proud to support her.

In total, Suzanne’s team raised a fantastic $420,000.

    Well done Suzanne!
