Well it’s taken a while but we are finally live on Just Giving, which is a great facility that enables our supporters to set up their own fundraising pages that can be viewed by friends, families and other fans.
We already have a couple of hardcore fans who have set up their pages – Becky and Sal (of YouTube fame) are brilliantly doing a 112 mile sponsored walk from Birmingham to London to the Dominion Theatre (
http://www.justgiving.com/walktowestend) and Madeline over in Sweden has set up the fund pages to raise fund through her tribute concert school projects (
http://www.justgiving.com/MadeleineMonroe).
The Just Giving site gives all of us a great way to let others know about what we’re doing to raise funds for the fight against AIDS worldwide, and a great way for your supporters to donate and leave comments on your initiatives.
