On September 3rd, 4th and 5th, Katarina Krantz and 3 others will be dressing as Freddie at Cirkus, the venue of We Will Rock You Sweden venue. They will be collecting for the MPT before and after the performance of WWRY. After Freddie’s birthday weekend Katarina will continue to collect at the venue every second weekend.
Katarina has received full support from 2entertain, the Swedish producers of WWRY.
Katarina tells her story:
“As a Queen fan I sometimes visited Queen’s website, where I read about the MPT and Freddie For A Day. I really, really liked the idea behind all this, and started thinking how it might be possible for me to help this charity.”
“I got in touch with Liz, the editor of the MPT website, and also with Brian via his “soapbox”. This way I was put in touch with the producers of WWRY Sweden. And here I am!!!”
“Why am I doing this collection for the MPT? For me the answer is: it’s all in my heart. I dearly want to help in the fight against AIDS.”
